Who We Are

i3 Academy stands for the Is: Imagine, Investigate, and Innovate. These principles are at the core of our educational philosophy. Our mission is to empower learners to become agents of change who solve the problems they see in their world. We serve students in kindergarten through ninth grade on three different campuses. i3 Elementary School is located in the Woodlawn community. i3 Middle School is located in the East Lake community on the campus of St. Barnabas Catholic Church (not affiliated). i3 High School is co-located on the campus of Jefferson State Community College, which will allow our high school students to take dual credit and professional certification courses on the same campus.

i3 Academy schools are dedicated to nurturing the whole child, fostering their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. We offer a variety of enrichment activities such as Wellness and athletics, fine arts classes, Makerspace, foreign language, and more. We prioritize social-emotional learning, recognizing its profound impact on students' well-being and academic success. We nurture empathy resilience, and effective communication skills through targeted programs and activities. By providing wraparound services and cultivating a supportive community, we create an environment where students can thrive and transform into confident, well-rounded individuals. 

 All i3 Academy charter schools are free, public, and open to all.
