Communications/Public Relations
The i3 Academy Communications/PR Department of our is dedicated to fostering transparent communication between the district and its stakeholders, including students, parents, staff, and the community. Key responsibilities include disseminating timely information through various channels, managing crisis communication, engaging with the community through outreach programs, and maintaining a positive brand image. The department also serves as the primary contact for media relations and values stakeholder feedback to enhance communication efforts. Ultimately, the department aims to support student success and build a collaborative environment within the school community.

Moderation of Third Party Content
i3 Academy's social media sites were created to provide access to information about i3 Academy and to serve as a platform for the public to interact with i3 Academy concerning the topics posted. As such, i3 Academy uses social media sites as limited public forums and all content published is monitored and managed by i3 Academy's Marketing and Communications Department.
On i3 Academy's Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram pages and other social media platforms, our goal is to post interesting, entertaining, and educational content. We welcome the public’s comments and suggestions. We encourage conversation and dialogue, but we want to ensure a respectful online environment and invigorating conversation for the broader public charter school community. If a third-party posts to any i3 Academy's social media site (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), they do so subject to these terms and conditions and any user-generated post(s) will be rejected or removed, if the post:
● is off-subject or out of context
● contains lewd, indecent, obscenity or material that appeals to the prurient interest
● contains personal identifying information or sensitive personal information
● contains offensive terms that target protected classes
● is threatening, harassing or discriminatory
● incites or promotes violence or illegal activities
● comments that personally attack or threaten any person
● contains information that reasonably could compromise individual or public safety
● advertises or promotes a commercial product or service, or any entity or individual
● infringes upon the intellectual property or other rights of any third party
● promotes or endorses political campaigns or candidates
● For students, anything that would violate DSST’s Student/Family Handbook
● For staff and faculty, anything that would violate DSST’s Staff Handbook
● Is inappropriate for minors
Moderated content includes comments on i3 Academy's posts, tags/mentions of i3 Academy, and location tags at a i3 Academy buildings.
