BayMobile Brings the Ocean to i3 Elementary

BayMobile is a FREE hands-on program that connects students to the ocean by introducing them to animals that live in the Gulf and discovering how they are connected to it through their watershed system. We use a large collection of preserved specimens and other biofacts such as shells, coral and shark jaws. After the presentation the students had the chance to come to the tables, touch the specimens, and hold animals such as an octopus, sharks, sponges, and various fish.

This experience not only educated our scholars about ocean life, but also inspired them to appreciate and protect our environment. A big thank you to BayMobile for this enriching experience! 🌍💙
